Abstract
The paper aims at analysing texts about implicit moral education in the areas of art and culture, as well as at pointing to interest for the issues of moral education in extra-curricular activities. For this purpose, the author applies theoretical methods of analysis and synthesis and analyses the accessible sources that deal with the area in question. Our research reveals that papers that concern the area of implicit moral education can be classified as follows: a) implicit moral education in poetry; b) implicit moral education in traditional culture and in the media; c) implicit moral education in essayistic literature; and d) implicit moral education in textbooks. Based upon the insight into published papers, the author concludes that art and culture, in concord with the language and the media used to communicate respective messages, intensify interest for the issue of moral education. In addition, there is a conclusion that the majority of papers deal with the traditional perspective of the child, childhood, and moral education, rooted in folklore and oral tradition, which points to the fact that these views play a significant role in designing moral education strategies.
